We see the natural so we can understand the supernatural

God has given us what we can see and understand in this world, so we can grasp what we can’t see in the world of the Spirit.  We understand in the natural so we can comprehend in the supernatural.

We live in a family so we can understand God the Father and God the Son and the Holy Spirit. That we have siblings so we can understand the children of our Father, God.

We are children of God

I once had a very good friend, who said to me after I was “born again”; “if you understand that you are child of God, everything with God fits.”   I had asked Jesus into my life, but didn’t understand much about being “born again” or being a “son of God.”  Somewhere along the road, God showed me that; I AM CHILDREN OF GOD because I have asked Jesus into our lives.

God has continued to confirm and expand that truth, WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD because we asked Jesus into our lives.   My friend  was correct; everything fits and fits  better and better as I understand we are part of the family of God and especially that God is our Daddy, our Father,  we are assuredly CHILDREN OF GOD.

God is our Father because we asked Jesus Christ into our lives.  We are born again, by the Spirit of God.  God is our Father, our Dad.  We are not the people of God, nor citizens of a kingdom; nor are we part of “God’s chosen people”.

WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE LIVING AND ONLY TRUE GOD!!!  God is our Father!

It all starts with asking Jesus into one’s life, being born by the Spirit of God.  We therefore become spiritually born by God.  And God becomes our spiritual DAD, our Dad that matter most.

Romans 8 says:  “9You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who lives in you. 12Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. 14For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.  And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.  17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

We are born again; we are now children of God. God now is our Father, our Dad.

Relationship between individuals is not taught, but experienced by time, learning each other.  Relationship is an experience, you grow into it.  A solid relationship with God, knowing Him as our Father, makes us stand strong.  It is a Father-son relationship with the God that is above, before and beyond everything, the God of the Universe and we are His kids.

We learn about and know our Dad because of a relationship with Him.  We gain confidence in our Dad by knowing Him, who He is, how He thinks, and His character rubbing off on us.  It is relationship with our Dad.  It is understanding, the solidity of Almighty God as being our Father.  Our dependency on Him is that He is Dad!   We learn as we spend time with our God that He is always true, He never leaves you or forsakes you.  He is Dad.  Big, powerful, mighty, comforting, protecting DAD, this is our Dad.  And our relationship with Him shows us that He is dependable. Putting our faith, our dependency in Him is done by time spent with Him in our life.

Let God open the eyes of your understanding,   Ephesians 1:  18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,”

Ask God; please show me that YOU are my DAD!!!!   Then spend time with Him and enjoy the relationship.
